Finally its done!
OpenWii 2.4 for Atmega8 (Chiip) & Attiny (Wiip)
New Features:
- Audiofix
- DualLayer Support
- New LED blink codes (L = long blink, S = short blink)
Power Up: L S
Drive Patched: L S S (e.g. each disc change)
Set Region / Speed / Audifix: L S S S (using setup disc)
Upgrade Firmware: LED flashes (update is finished when led is off)
- New setup disc behaviour
The chip update is now starting automatically if no GameCube controller is connected.
If you want to change your configuration, ensure to connect a GameCube controller in port 1 before starting the setup disc!
Tip from HisshouBuraiKen: If you're using wavebirds GC controller make sure to hold down a button when the disc boots up (b, x or y should work fine) - otherwise recognizing the controller will fail.
- Attiny support
Due to the limited flash size the Attiny firmware does not support the LED blinking and the audiofix can not be switched off via setup disc. Update via setup disc is not supported.
Special thanks to Bell from YAOSM for helping me to make this release possible!
Enjoy!
EDIT (15.Mar.2008): Added Attiny hex files, updated source code
EDIT (28.Feb.2008): Minor bugfix - Updated downloads to fixed version
